Lawson Cup 2018 fixtures announced

By Tim Holland

The Lawson Cup will be contested between April and July 2018.

Once again 9 Corps teams have confirmed participation and therefore the groups have been decided as:

Group 1 - R SIGNALS, REME, RLC, AGC

Group 2 - RE, RA, INF, RAC, Spartans

The Royal Signals are the current Champions and hope to push on and dominate the Comp. The Sappers are wounded and will want the title back. Can the REME return to the final? Will we see the RA Union form in this years RA RL team? Can the RLC come back to the forefront of our game? Can the INF make that final jump to a final? Can the RAC take their strong RL unit game into the Corps season? Can the AGC continue to build and impress? Can the Spartans emulate their namesakes and defeat all?

This is THE community competition in Services RL. This is where Soldiers RL players make a name for themselves and force themselves into the Army Squads for the Inter Services. This is where soldiers get the chance to play the game that we all love for the cap badge that they belong to.

* The INF v RA fixture is likely to change to Thurs 3 May due to other commitments and the Bank Holiday on 1 May *

This is the LAWSON CUP 2018.
