Lawson Cup Update

By Tim Holland

The Lawson Cup is now well under way with 3 rounds played.

The competition has seen some amazing games with the REME overcoming the current Champions R SIGNALS and the Sappers just edging the Gunners in a meaty encounter. The Infantry are making a real challenge for honours this year and the RAC and the Spartans have played with real heart and continue to improve game in game out.

Unfortunately, the cup has also seen some low points as the AGC have so far been unable to raise 17 players to fulfil their fixtures. Hopefully they will turn that around from now.

The next round will see a couple of 'humdingers' as the Infantry host the Sappers and the RLC and R Signals play each other in a winner take all game that will decide the make up of the Semi finals.

It all builds to LAWSON CUP Finals Day on 25 July when the 2018 Inter Corps Championship will be decided.

Where next?
